Vodafone Group Plc has announced the initiation of a share repurchase program involving its ordinary shares, each valued at $0.20. The total amount allocated for this buyback is capped at 480 million euros.
To facilitate this process, Vodafone has appointed Goldman Sachs International to execute the purchase on its behalf under a non-discretionary mandate. Goldman Sachs International will act as a riskless principal throughout the duration of the program, which begins on February 4 and concludes by May 19.
As of the latest trading session in London, shares of Vodafone are priced at 65.76 pence, reflecting a decline of 6.08 percent.
