Newell Brands (NWL) has issued its financial projections for fiscal year 2025. The company expects normalized earnings per share (EPS) to range from $0.70 to $0.76, with core sales fluctuating between a 2% decrease and a 1% increase. For the first quarter, Newell anticipates a normalized loss per share between $0.09 and $0.06, alongside a projected core sales decline ranging from 4% to 2%.
In the fourth quarter, Newell reported a net loss of $54 million, improving from a loss of $86 million in the same period the previous year. The reported loss per share was $0.13, down from a loss of $0.21. Normalized EPS came in at $0.16, compared to $0.18 the prior year. The company recorded net sales of $1.9 billion, marking a 6.1% decrease from the previous year's figures, with core sales experiencing a 3.0% decline.
