In February 2025, Estonia witnessed a 2.3% year-on-year increase in industrial production, marking a rebound from the previously revised 3.1% decline in January. This upturn represents the most substantial growth in industrial activity since August 2022. A noteworthy recovery was seen in sectors such as electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply, which grew by 6.0% after experiencing a 21.8% decline in January. Manufacturing output also experienced growth, increasing by 1.6% compared to 1.3% in the prior month. Conversely, the mining sector continued its downturn, with output decreasing by 14.3% compared to a 7.4% drop in January. On a month-to-month basis, industrial activity rose by 5.8% in February, following a 6.5% decrease in the previous period.
