In the first quarter of 2025, China's GDP experienced a seasonally adjusted growth of 1.2%, down from the 1.6% increase seen in the previous quarter. This figure fell short of the market expectation of a 1.4% rise. This quarter marked the most modest expansion since the second quarter of 2024, yet it also marked the 11th straight quarter of growth.
