In March 2025, Chile witnessed a substantial increase in retail sales, which climbed by 6.9% compared to the same month the previous year. This growth followed a revised 2.7% rise recorded in February. Key sectors driving this upward trend included electronics, household goods, and tech products, which surged by 12.7%. The clothing, footwear, and accessories segment saw an impressive 13.0% increase, while miscellaneous consumer goods rose by 10.6%. When adjusted for seasonal variations, retail trade experienced a modest monthly increase of 0.5% in March, bouncing back from a 0.9% decline in February.
