In the fourth quarter of 2024, the average gross monthly earnings of employees in Cyprus saw a year-on-year increase of 5%, reaching EUR 2,813. This growth rate marked a slight deceleration from the 5.5% rise observed in the preceding quarter. Female employees experienced a 5.9% increase in their wages, amounting to EUR 2,606, while male employees saw a 4.3% growth, resulting in average earnings of EUR 2,979. On a quarter-to-quarter basis, and after seasonally adjusting the figures, wages grew by 1.2%, maintaining the growth pace from the third quarter.
