Industrial production in Ireland surged by an impressive 46.5% in March 2025 compared to the same period a year earlier. This acceleration follows a 34.9% increase in February, making it the most robust expansion in industrial output since November 2022. The growth was notably driven by increased activity in the manufacturing sector, which rose by 49.2% from February's 38.2%, and the transferable goods industries, which climbed to 49.4% from 38.1%. However, on a month-to-month basis, the growth in industrial production moderated to 9.9% in March 2025, following a peak of 12.6% in the preceding month.
