In March 2025, Slovenia experienced a 1.9% year-on-year decline in industrial production, marking the second consecutive monthly decrease following a revised 2.8% drop in February. The manufacturing sector saw continued contraction, with output falling by 2.5% after a 4.8% decline in the previous month. However, mining and quarrying showed a notable rebound with a 1.5% increase, compared to an 18.2% decrease earlier. Growth in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector slowed to 5.6%, down from 15.6% in February. Month-over-month, industrial output decreased by 1.2%.
