In March 2025, Denmark's seasonally adjusted current account surplus increased to DKK 33.4 billion, rising from a slightly revised DKK 29.9 billion in February, marking the lowest level since May 2024. The surplus in the goods account grew to DKK 26.3 billion compared to DKK 23.0 billion, influenced by a 4.7% reduction in imports, while exports fell by 0.5%. Concurrently, the primary income surplus rose to DKK 9.0 billion from DKK 7.9 billion. In contrast, the services account surplus contracted to DKK 0.9 billion from DKK 2.3 billion, and the secondary income deficit expanded moderately to DKK 3.2 billion from DKK 2.9 billion observed in January.
