The composition of these total reserve assets is as follows: foreign currency reserves amounting to $1.12 trillion, an IMF reserve position of $11.609 billion, Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) of $60.081 billion, gold reserves valued at $89.813 billion, and other reserve assets totaling $16.005 billion. Additionally, Japan's finance ministry reported that no foreign exchange interventions were undertaken from January through March 2025.
