In April 2025, Brazil's vehicle production—which encompasses passenger cars, light utility vehicles, trucks, and buses—increased by 20.1% compared to the previous month, totaling 228,240 units. This recovery follows a marked 12.6% decrease in March, as reported by Anfavea. Meanwhile, exports saw a significant boost, rising 18.9% from March to reach 46,300 units. New vehicle sales experienced a 6.7% increase, amounting to 208,700 units. Conversely, imports dropped to 37,313 units, largely attributed to a decreased supply of electric and hybrid vehicles.
