This marks the first annual decline in consumer prices since June 2021, attributed to widespread price reductions across all sectors. Utilities saw the most notable year-on-year drop, although the rate of deflation showed signs of easing compared to the prior month (-9.64% versus -14.94%). Additionally, prices fell in the categories of clothing and footwear (-2.48% compared to -1.04%), the communication sector (-0.98% compared to +1.24%), as well as furniture, household items, and home maintenance. However, on a month-to-month basis, consumer prices increased by 0.27%.
