Bosnia and Herzegovina experienced a slight decrease in industrial production, declining by 0.1% year-on-year in April 2025. This represents a less severe drop compared to the 0.6% decrease observed in March, marking the fifth consecutive month of downturn, albeit the mildest in the series. The decline was less pronounced for intermediate goods, which fell by 1.8% versus a 3.4% decrease in the prior month, and for consumer non-durables, which declined by 1.7% compared to a sharp 7.5% drop previously. In contrast, production of capital goods saw an upswing, with an increase of 8.0%, up from 5.9%. However, activity for consumer durables continued to diminish, moving from a 22.0% decrease to 22.4%. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rallied by 1.4%, recovering from a 1.3% decline in March.
