FX.co ★ Chile Retail Sales Growth Eases

Retail sales in Chile experienced a 4.5% increase in April 2025 compared to the same month in the previous year. This followed a revised 7.2% boost observed in March. Significant growth was noted in sales of electronics, household equipment, and technology products, which surged by 8.5%. Food sales increased by 4.9%, and there was a 6.8% rise in various consumer goods. However, when compared to March 2025, retail sales saw a slight decline of 0.3% in April. Overall, for the first four months of the year, retail sales rose by 5.5%.
