Colombia's unemployment rate decreased to 8.8% in April 2025, down from 10.64% in April of the previous year, representing the lowest level since November 2024. During this period, the number of employed individuals grew by 711,000, reaching a total of 23.576 million. Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate edged up slightly to 64.0% from 63.7% the previous year, while the employment rate increased to 58.1% from 57.2%.
