In June 2025, Denmark's manufacturing confidence indicator rose to 98.4, up from May's 96.3, which was the lowest point since December 2023. Despite this increase, the indicator remains below the historical norm of 100. This development represents the first rise in manufacturing confidence in four months. The improvement is largely attributed to enhanced employment expectations, which shifted to a positive outlook (5 as compared to -7 in May). Furthermore, there was a significant boost in household sentiment towards production, jumping to 20 from 14, indicating a more optimistic perspective.
