Bosnia Producer Inflation at 6-Month Low

Producer prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose by 2.6% year-on-year in May 2025, a deceleration from the 2.9% increase observed in April. This figure represents the lowest rate of increase since November 2024. Price growth eased in various sectors, including energy (4% compared to 4.8% in April), intermediate goods (1.3% down from 1.6%), non-durable consumer goods (4.7% compared to 5.1%), and durable consumer goods (1.9% down from 2.3%). However, the costs for capital goods experienced a faster increase, rising by 2.7% compared to 1.4% in April. On a monthly comparison, producer prices edged up by 0.4% in May 2025, following a rise of 0.2% the previous month.
