Hong Kong's foreign exchange reserves rose to $431.9 billion in June, the highest since January 2023, an increase from the revised figure of $431.1 billion in May. This amount accounted for over five times the amount of currency in circulation and approximately 37% of the Hong Kong dollar's M3 money supply. When including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, the total foreign currency reserve assets reached $431.8 billion in June.
