Turkish Capacity Utilization Hits Lowest Since March 2023

In July 2025, the manufacturing sector in Turkey utilized 74.2% of its production capacity, declining from 74.6% in June. This represents the lowest level of capacity utilization since March 2023, largely due to reductions across key sectors. Non-durable consumer goods fell to 72.5% from 73.5% in the prior month, while investment goods dropped to 71.1% from 71.9%. The food and beverage sector recorded a decrease to 73.3% from 74.0%, consumer goods decreased to 72.3% from 72.8%, and intermediate goods slid to 74.7% from 75.1%. Conversely, durable consumer goods experienced an increase in capacity utilization, rising to 71.4% in July from 69.5% in June.
