Brazil Credit Stock Rises in June

In June 2025, the total value of outstanding loans in Brazil increased by 0.5%, reaching R$6.7 trillion. This rise was primarily driven by a 0.6% growth in corporate credit and a 0.4% increase in loans to families. On an annual scale, the total credit saw an expansion of 10.7%. Specifically, corporate lending grew by 8.8% compared to the previous year, marking a decrease from May's 10.9%. Meanwhile, family credit rose by 11.9%, slightly down from the 12.4% growth recorded in May.
