In June 2025, Hungary's trade surplus decreased to 978 million euros, down from 1,124 million euros in June of the previous year, primarily due to exports increasing at a slower pace than imports. Compared to the same month last year, exports grew marginally by 0.1%, reaching 12,273 million euros, while imports saw a rise of 1.4%, totaling 11,295 million euros. Over the first half of the year, the trade surplus reduced to 6,813 million euros from 7,770 million euros during the same timeframe last year.
