Poland Current Account Swings to Surplus

In June 2025, Poland achieved a current account surplus of EUR 651 million, a significant turnaround from the EUR 142 million deficit reported in the same month the previous year. The goods account notably improved, registering a EUR 59 million surplus in contrast to the EUR 533 million deficit recorded in June 2024. The surplus in services also increased slightly to EUR 3731 million, up from EUR 3725 million. Furthermore, the primary income deficit reduced to EUR 2803 million from EUR 2991 million, while the secondary income deficit decreased to EUR 336 million from EUR 343 million.
