Sri Lanka saw a reduction in its trade deficit in July 2025, declining to USD 580.0 million from USD 603.8 million in July of the previous year. This change can be attributed to an 8.5% increase in imports, which amounted to USD 1.88 billion, as well as a 15.2% rise in exports, reaching USD 1.30 billion.
