FX.co ★ Bulgaria Industrial Output Remains Unchanged in July

Industrial production in Bulgaria experienced an 8.3% decrease year-on-year in July 2025, maintaining the same rate as the upwardly revised figure for the previous month. Growth in output for the mining and quarrying sectors slowed significantly, registering a 2.1% increase compared to 26.7% in June. Conversely, the manufacturing sector saw a less steep decline at -3.3%, improving from the -7.3% observed earlier. However, the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning segment faced a sharper decline, plummeting to -34.9% from -18.1%. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity remained stagnant in July, after a previously upwardly revised decrease of 1.9% in the month prior.
