FX.co ★ Chile Central Bank Raises 2025 GDP Forecast to 2.25%–2.75%

Chile's central bank updated its economic growth projection for 2025, raising it to a range of 2.25% to 2.75%, an upward adjustment from the earlier forecast of 2.0% to 2.75%. Furthermore, the bank has modified its GDP growth outlook for 2026, now estimating it to be between 1.75% and 2.75%, a slight increase from the previous range of 1.5% to 2.5%. Additionally, the average annual inflation rate for 2025 is anticipated to be 4.4%, marginally higher than the prior estimate of 4.3%. The central bank also noted that it expects inflation to align with its 3% target by the third quarter of 2026.
