U.S. energy companies added 75 billion cubic feet of natural gas to storage for the week ending September 19th, meeting market forecasts and surpassing the 47 bcf increase from the same week last year. This addition raised total natural gas storage to 3,508 bcf, which is 0.6% higher than a year ago and 6.1% above the five-year average.
