In the second quarter of 2025, Palestine saw a notable reduction in its current account deficit, which decreased to $665 million from $801 million recorded in the same period of the previous year. This improvement can largely be attributed to the increase in the income surplus, which grew to $195 million, up from $191 million in Q2 2024. Additionally, the goods deficit saw a reduction, narrowing to $1,075 million from the previous $1,161 million. Furthermore, the surplus from current transfers increased, reaching $425 million compared to $338 million in the same quarter last year. However, the services deficit experienced an increase, expanding to $210 million from the previous $169 million.
