US Crude Oil Inventories Rise More than Expected: EIA

U.S. crude oil inventories increased by 3.524 million barrels for the week ending October 10, surpassing market expectations of a modest 0.12-million increase. Meanwhile, crude stocks at the Cushing, Oklahoma delivery hub decreased by 703,000 barrels. In terms of refined fuels, gasoline inventories declined by 0.267 million barrels, and distillate fuel stocks saw a significant reduction of 4.529 million barrels.
