Danish Trade Surplus Widens in September

In September 2025, Denmark experienced an increase in its seasonally adjusted goods and services trade surplus, which rose to DKK 33.5 billion, up from a revised DKK 25.8 billion in August. This improvement was fueled by a 3.4% month-on-month rise in exports, reaching DKK 181.7 billion, entirely driven by higher exports of goods and services. In contrast, imports saw a decline of 1.1%, totaling DKK 148.2 billion. Over the first nine months of 2025, Denmark's trade surplus expanded to DKK 242.0 billion, surpassing the DKK 226.7 billion recorded in the same period of the previous year.
