Rwanda's overall inflation rate decreased to a seven-month low of 5.1% in October 2025, a decline from 6.2% observed in September, signifying the fourth straight month of deceleration. The moderation in price growth was chiefly seen in the category of food and non-alcoholic beverages, where the increase was limited to 1%, compared to 4% in September. This was largely influenced by a more significant drop in vegetable prices, which fell by 7% following a 3% decrease in the previous month. On a month-to-month comparison, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1%, after a 1.3% rise in the preceding month.
