Construction output in Bulgaria surged by 9.7% year-over-year in September 2025, marking the most significant growth since April 2021. This follows an upward revision of a 6.3% increase recorded in August. Notable improvements were observed across specialized construction activities, which rose by 11.4%, civil engineering, up by 9.7%, and building construction, which saw an 8.2% increase. On a month-to-month basis, construction output rose by 1.4%, with civil engineering experiencing the largest gain at 2%.
