Croatia Producer Inflation Cools Down in October

In October 2025, the annual producer price inflation in Croatia decreased to 1.3%, down from a more than two-year peak of 1.7% recorded in the previous month. This decline is attributed to a reduction in the costs associated with energy (which fell to 0.8% from 2.3% in September), intermediate goods (which decreased to 1% from 1.2%), and non-durable consumer goods (which decreased to 0.9% from 1%). Conversely, there was an acceleration in the price increases for capital goods, which rose to 4% from 3.3%, and for durable consumer goods, which increased to 0.4% from 0.2%. Excluding energy costs, prices still rose by 1.5%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices remained unchanged, following a 0.3% increase in the prior month.
