In October 2025, Albania experienced a slight decline in its annual inflation rate, which reduced to 2.3% from 2.4% in September. This deceleration was primarily observed in various sectors such as recreation and culture, where prices increased at a slower rate of 3.2% compared to 4.7% previously. Similarly, there were reduced price increments in alcoholic beverages (3.1% down from 3.4%), food and non-alcoholic beverages (1.6% from 1.8%), medical care (0.5% from 0.6%), as well as hotels and restaurants (2.4% from 2.5%), and education (2.0% reduced from 2.2%). Conversely, certain sectors experienced higher prices, including housing and utilities which saw a rise to 4.3% from 4.1%, furnishings and household maintenance at 2.9% from 2.6%, clothing and footwear at 1.8% up from 1.1%, communication at 1.1% from 1.0%, and transport at 0.5% from 0.4%. On a month-to-month analysis, consumer prices saw a slight increase of 0.1%, a decrease from the 0.7% rise observed in September.
