Slovakia's economy grew by 0.9% on a year-on-year basis in the third quarter of 2025, exceeding market predictions of a 0.7% increase and improving from a revised 0.5% growth in the previous quarter, according to preliminary estimates. This growth was primarily driven by a positive foreign trade balance and a rise in domestic demand, notably in investment activity. On a seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, the economy expanded by 0.3%, slightly surpassing the 0.2% growth observed in the previous quarter.
