In the third quarter of 2025, Kazakhstan's unemployment rate held steady at 4.6% for the fifth straight quarter. The number of unemployed individuals fell by 4,000 compared to the previous year, totaling 448,600, while employment figures grew by 96,300, bringing the total number of employed individuals to 9.3 million. Furthermore, the youth unemployment rate for those aged 15 to 34 slightly declined from 3.1% to 3% over the last two quarters. Concurrently, the labor force experienced a year-on-year increase of 96,311, reaching 9.78 million.
