This reflects the lowest unemployment rate since the fourth quarter of 2003, as the number of unemployed individuals decreased by 12,100, totaling 213,700. Unemployment among women saw a slight decrease to 11.4% from 11.5% in the third quarter of 2024, while the rate for men decreased to 14.7% from 15.6%. Additionally, the employment rate rose slightly to 47.3% compared to 47.1% the previous year, despite a reduction of 11,700 in the number of employed individuals, which now stands at 1,396,000. Concurrently, the labor force participation rate dipped to 54.5% from 54.7%.
