Turkey Consumer Confidence Improves in November

Türkiye experienced a rise in its consumer confidence index, climbing to 85.0 in November 2025 from 83.6 the previous month. This 1.6% increase represents the highest level since June and reflects improvements across most sub-indices. Specifically, households reported an enhanced view of their current financial status, with the index moving up to 69.6 from 67.7. Looking ahead, there is also an elevated expectation for their financial circumstances over the next twelve months, rising to 85.7 from 84.2. In terms of outlook, consumers have a slightly improved perspective on the general economic conditions expected over the forthcoming year, with that index advancing to 79.6 from 78.6. Additionally, the index related to anticipated spending on durable goods within the next twelve months increased to 105.0 from 104.0, suggesting that purchasing intentions remain strong. It is important to note, however, that the overall index remains below the 100 threshold, signifying that consumer sentiment continues to dwell in pessimistic territory.
