In October 2025, Luxembourg experienced a 2.3% year-on-year decline in producer prices, following a revised decrease of 1.5% in the previous month. This represents the third consecutive month of deflation and the most pronounced decline in this period. The decrease was driven by more significant price reductions in the energy sector (-10.5% compared to -8.4%) and consumer goods (-2.6% compared to -2%). Conversely, deflation in intermediate goods lessened (-0.5% compared to -0.9%), while prices for capital goods remained unchanged at 1.8%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices further declined by 0.7%, deepening from the 0.3% decrease observed in the prior month.
