Norway House Prices Accelerate in November

In November 2025, house prices in Norway increased by 0.7% compared to the previous month, marking the swiftest growth since February and surpassing the 0.6% rise seen in October. By the end of November, the average home price reached NOK 4,774,083. A total of 7,461 residential properties were sold throughout the month, representing a 2.8% increase compared to November of the prior year. The average duration to sell a property lengthened to 54 days from 48 days in October. Bergen and Stavanger, along with their surrounding areas, experienced the shortest selling periods at 20 and 24 days, respectively. Conversely, Tønsberg and its vicinity had the longest at 93 days. Regionally, Tromsø saw the highest month-on-month price growth at 2.8%, followed by Hamar w/Stange at 2.5% and Ålesund at 2.4%. On the other hand, Tønsberg with Færder experienced the weakest growth, with a decrease of 1.7%. On a year-over-year basis, house prices increased by 6.2% in November, accelerating from a 5.8% rise in October.
