Estonia Inflation Rate Rises in November

In November 2025, Estonia's annual inflation rate increased to 4.9%, up from a five-month low of 4.6% in October. Among the sectors experiencing faster price increases were food and non-alcoholic beverages, which rose by 6.5% compared to 6.3% in October, and transport, which jumped to 10.6% from 7.7%. The health sector saw prices increase by 11.1%, up from 10.6%, while housing costs rose to 3.3% from 2.5%. Prices in hotels, cafes, and restaurants climbed to 5.3% from 3.9%, and there were increases in miscellaneous goods and services (4.6% from 4.3%), communications (2.4% from 1.2%), and education (1.6% from 1.1%). Household goods maintained a steady cost increase at 1.9%, while deflation in clothing and footwear eased to -5.7% from -6.9%. The inflation rate for alcohol and tobacco slowed slightly to 5.8% from 6.2%, and there was a price reduction in recreation and culture, moving from 5.6% to -0.1%. Monthly consumer prices saw a decline of 0.2% in November, following a steady rate in the prior month.
