Mexico Auto Exports Fall Again in November

In November 2025, Mexico experienced a 3.5% decrease in car exports compared to the same month the previous year, totaling 279,342 units. This follows a decline of 5.5% in October. Notably, exports plummeted for several manufacturers, with Mazda dropping by 73.2% to 3,523 units, Honda decreasing by 66.1% to 7,147 units, Nissan falling by 38.5% to 23,008 units, and Stellantis reducing by 10.1% to 27,653 units. Conversely, substantial increases in exports were observed for Ford, which rose by 89.3% to 33,709 units, Toyota with an 18.1% increase to 31,777 units, and Volkswagen, which saw a 9.2% rise to 27,794 units. Over the year-to-date figures, exports were down by 1.6%. The United States continued to be the leading destination for light-vehicle shipments, making up 78.6% of the total distribution.
