Danish Current Account Narrows in October

In October 2025, Denmark's seasonally adjusted current account surplus reduced to DKK 32.9 billion, compared to a revised DKK 38.9 billion in September. The surplus in the goods account saw a decline, registering DKK 26 billion from the previous DKK 31.7 billion as exports dropped by 3.8% and imports rose by 1.9%. Similarly, the surplus in the services account fell slightly to DKK 2.1 billion from DKK 2.4 billion. In terms of income, the primary income surplus dipped to DKK 8 billion from DKK 8.2 billion, while the deficit in secondary income decreased to DKK 3.2 billion from DKK 3.4 billion. For the initial ten months of 2025, Denmark recorded a current account surplus totaling DKK 305.3 billion, a slight decrease from the DKK 307 billion surplus in the same period last year.
