FX.co ★ Romania Inflation Stood at 9.8% in November

In November 2025, Romania's annual inflation rate remained consistent at 9.8%, the same as the prior month and slightly exceeding market predictions of a 9.7% increase. Food product prices saw an uptick (7.64% compared to 7.57% in October), alongside service prices, which also rose (10.99% compared to 10.52%). However, inflation for non-food items showed a slight decline (10.73% compared to 10.96%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices saw an increase of 0.46%, which is a slight decrease from the 0.50% rise observed in October. Concurrently, the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) registered an annual increase of 8.6%, with a monthly growth of 0.49% in November.
