Producer prices in South Korea increased by 1.9% in November 2025 compared to the same month the previous year, marking the highest rise since July 2024. This was an uptick from the 1.6% increase recorded in October. The costs surged particularly in sectors such as services, which rose by 2.2% compared to 2.1% in October, manufacturing, which saw an increase to 1.9% from 1.2%, and agricultural, forestry, and marine products, which jumped to 5.5% from 4%. Conversely, prices for electricity, water, and gas declined, easing to a reduction of 1.2% compared to a 1.5% decrease previously. On a month-to-month basis, there was a consistent producer price increase of 0.3% in November, following a similar rise in October.
