In November 2025, retail sales in Sweden experienced a notable increase of 5.6% compared to the same month the previous year. This substantial growth was an acceleration from the revised 3.5% rise observed in October. It represents the most significant annual increase since November 2021. A key factor in this rise was the higher rate of sales in non-durable goods, which climbed by 8.6% compared to October's 6.0%, alongside a boost in the grocery sector, excluding Systembolaget, which saw a 2.0% increase compared to a mere 0.3% the month before. On a monthly basis, retail sales saw a 1.1% growth in November, a recovery from the revised 0.2% decline noted in October. Looking at the quarter from September to November, sales rose by 1.4% relative to the preceding quarter from June to August.
