The perceived unemployment risk eased marginally to -2 from -3, although expectations of national unemployment rates remained steady at 15. Opinions on purchasing capital goods held steady at -17, with intentions for purchases in the coming year slightly improving to -14 from -16. Meanwhile, households became slightly less optimistic about their current financial standing (61 down from 63), and the number anticipating saving in the coming year decreased (42 from 47).
