In November 2025, Norway's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased slightly to 4.5%, up from the revised 4.4% in October, aligning with market forecasts. The count of unemployed individuals held steady at 135,000. Concurrently, the employment rate declined to 69.1% from 69.8% in the preceding month, with the number of employed individuals decreasing by 28,000, bringing the total to 2.887 million. The labor force participation rate also saw a decrease, dropping to 72.3% from October’s 73%. Among the youth, defined as those aged 15 to 24, unemployment escalated to 15.4%, marking a three-month high, compared to 14.1% the month before.
