In November, Taiwan saw a marginal increase in its seasonally adjusted unemployment rate, rising to 3.35% from 3.33% in October. Despite this slight uptick, the number of unemployed individuals decreased by 3,000 from the previous month, totaling 401,000. Meanwhile, total employment saw a rise of 4,000, reaching 11.64 million. Notably, youth unemployment for individuals aged 20 to 24 reduced to 11.70%, marking the lowest rate in six months and a decrease from 11.81% in October. Additionally, the labor force participation rate edged up slightly to 59.57% from 59.54%.
