Czech Republic Consumer Morale Weakens in December

In December 2025, the consumer confidence index in the Czech Republic dipped to 111.1, down from 111.7 in November. A higher proportion of consumers are now expecting the country's overall economic conditions to worsen over the forthcoming year, while the percentage of households predicting improvements in their personal financial situations has remained steady compared to the previous month. Similarly, the percentage of individuals perceiving their current financial status as worse than it was a year ago has not changed since November. On another note, the number of people indicating they do not plan to make major purchases in the coming year has seen a slight decrease for the second month in a row.
