In December 2025, Poland experienced a slight decrease in its annual inflation rate to 2.4%, down from 2.5% in November. This marks the lowest inflation rate since April 2024, based on preliminary estimates. The decline was primarily driven by a 3.1% drop in the prices of fuel and transport equipment. However, this was somewhat counterbalanced by a rise in the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which increased by 2.4%, and electricity, gas, and other fuels, which saw a 2.8% increase. On a month-to-month comparison, consumer prices remained stable in December.
